Original Santos Rosewood Shaving Brush - "High Mountain White" fibre

A shaving brush in the iconic Plisson shape with a comfortable grip, crafted from precious wood: Santos Rosewood. The "High Mountain White" Plisson fibre reproduces the characteristics of the best shaving brushes: softness and emulsifying power. Added to this are the qualities of hygiene and resistance associated with synthetic materials. Available in standard size (12), the most popular for daily use. Made entirely by hand in the Plisson workshops in France.

Advice for use

1/ With the beard soap: With your face wet (ideally after a shower), quickly run your shaving brush under warm water and emulsify the soap inside the bowl (without crushing the hairs) until you obtain a thick and creamy lather. Apply to the face in circular motions for one or two minutes to soften and straighten your beard hair sufficiently.

2/ With the shaving cream: Once your face is prepared and the shaving brush is moistened with warm water, place a dab of cream on the top of the brush and soap the face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to apply a trace of cream directly with the tube to each cheek and then emulsify it with the brush.

Maintenance

To keep your beard brush in good condition for many years, we recommend rinsing it well after each use to remove any traces of cream or soap and draining it. Then rub it lightly on a bath towel before storing it upside down on a suitable stand.

Pour un rasage optimal, il est recommandé de se raser le matin, idéalement après la douche. La chaleur et l’humidité assouplissent les poils de barbe et préparent la peau au passage de la lame.

Préparez votre mousse à raser à l’aide d’un blaireau en émulsionnant votre savon ou votre crème à raser. Cette étape permet d’hydrater et de redresser le poil tout en protégeant la peau des irritations.

Appliquez la mousse sur le visage humide en mouvements circulaires, puis rasez-vous dans le sens du poil en limitant les passages de la lame. Pour un second passage, appliquez de nouveau de la mousse et rasez à rebrousse-poil selon votre confort.

Après le rasage, rincez votre visage à l’eau fraîche puis appliquez un baume après-rasage afin d’apaiser et de réhydrater la peau.

La longévité de votre blaireau de rasage dépend de son entretien. Nous vous recommandons de bien rincer les poils de votre blaireau à l’eau tiède après chaque utilisation afin d’éliminer tout résidu de savon ou de crème et de préserver ses qualités le plus longtemps possible. Évitez l’utilisation d’eau chaude, qui pourrait altérer les fibres. Pressez délicatement les poils entre vos doigts pour évacuer l’excès d’eau, puis frottez-les légèrement sur une serviette de bain. Enfin, rangez votre blaireau sur un support adapté, la tête vers le bas, afin de favoriser un séchage optimal.

Le choix du savon est également important : certains savons du marché présentent un pH trop acide pouvant fragiliser les fibres et entraîner une perte prématurée des poils. Privilégiez des produits adaptés au rasage traditionnel afin de préserver la qualité de votre blaireau.
