It opens with the soft, powdery texture of an iris accord, carried by the grainy, herbal freshness of carrot seed and enhanced by the warm, ambery nuances of rum extract.

At its core, ylang-ylang brings a floral touch that blends harmoniously with the aromatic freshness of lavender, while the base notes of papyrus, vetiver, and patchouli weave a refined, structured woody framework, elevated by rich and intensely leather notes.

The leather accord is the signature of this fragrance. Built with an ambery base enriched with woods and musks, it creates a soft, enveloping presence with a sensual velvety texture and powdery side.

The perfumer behind Voyage de l'Empereur is Vincent Ricord, who sought to express a new vision of masculine elegance through this fragrance — noble, commanding, and quietly magnetic.

Born in Nice, Vincent began composing fragrances at the age of nineteen, following in the footsteps of his family's perfumery heritage in Grasse. After spending more than fifteen years at Expressions Parfumées, he joined CPL Aromas before becoming Senior Perfumer at TechnicoFlor in Paris, where he continues to explore the intersection of olfactory creativity and sustainability.

Trained as both a technician and an artist, he creates fragrances that balance sensuality with precision. His creative universe draws inspiration from his passion for music and contemporary art.
