Âme Insulaire embodies an insular soul - shaped by Mediterranean light, grounded in ritual, inhabited like memory.

From the very first moment, a vivid burst of citrus brightens the air: lemon and bitter orange, sharp and golden, like light sparkling on water. It is a crispness that feels alive, exhilarating, invigorating.

As it unfolds, the scent turns greener. Galbanum steps in with a raw, crisp intensity, vegetal and slightly resinous, like sun-warmed shrubs bruised by salt and wind. Cypress and petitgrain carry the story forward, their aromatic clarity weaving through the brightness with a dry, vibrant tension. These are not ornamental greens; they ground the fragrance, give it edge and structure.

Anchoring the composition, Atlas cedar and vetiver bring a woody depth, evoking the forests that line the island's shores. Cashmeran adds a subtle softness, supporting the structure without altering its clarity. The result is quietly radiant, fresh yet anchored, like the air in the shade of a tree overlooking the sea - a vision of Mediterranean green rarely explored with such clarity.

The perfumer behind Âme Insulaire is Vincent Ricord, who sought to capture the feeling of an escape to an island bathed in sea breeze and golden sunlight.

Born in Nice, Vincent began composing fragrances at the age of nineteen, following in the footsteps of his family's perfumery heritage in Grasse. After spending more than fifteen years at Expressions Parfumées, he joined CPL Aromas before becoming Senior Perfumer at TechnicoFlor in Paris, where he continues to explore the intersection of olfactory creativity and sustainability.

Trained as both a technician and an artist, he creates fragrances that balance sensuality with precision. His creative universe draws inspiration from his passion for music and contemporary art.
