Noblesse des Bois is a fragrance built around contrast and clarity with noble ingredients.

From the very start, the scent opens with the density of woods: fir and pine needles, and cedarwood. These ingredients bring a natural warmth, textured and grounded, with no harshness. It is a woody presence that feels deep and enveloping.

Then comes the hinoki, a Japanese cypress with a remarkably pure profile. Its essence is both woody and crisp, with a dry, slightly spicy brightness that lifts the composition without disrupting its calm.

This clarity does not fade. It is carried further by black peppercorn, which extends the soothing sensation and adds a discreet tension. Olibanum reinforces this feeling with a cool resinous glow that keeps the structure open and breathing.

As the fragrance settles, a base of cashmeran and musk brings a gentle comfort. These materials soften the blend and leave a sensation of smoothness on the skin, without ever masking the wood. The result is a fresh woody fragrance that remains clear and structured over time.

The cooling sensation endures; it does not disappear into the background, but continues to pulse quietly within the warmth.

The perfumer behind Noblesse des Bois is Marine Ipert, who sought to express a quiet form of elegance, deeply rooted in nature and movement: a fragrance that breathes.

Marine joined the Takasago Fine Fragrance studio in 2023. Raised in the South of France, between the sea and the mountains, her earliest memories are filled with the scents of jasmine, lavender and mimosa. From the age of thirteen, she knew she wanted to become a perfumer. Her journey led her to ISIPCA before joining the fragrance houses IFF and Symrise, where she developed a signature style defined by precision and sensuality.

Marine thinks in textures and colours, sketching fragrances like clean, elegant lines on paper: each composition carefully crafted with purpose and intention.
