For optimal shaving results, prepare your face with warm water, ideally after a shower, to soften the beard hair and facilitate lather preparation.

With shaving soap: thoroughly dampen the natural High Mountain White badger hair knot with warm water, then work the brush in circular motions over the soap, directly in its bowl, without pressing down excessively on the bristles. Continue until a rich, dense and creamy lather develops. Apply the lather to the damp face using circular movements for one to two minutes to distribute the product evenly, soften the beard hair and gently lift it in preparation for shaving.

With shaving cream: after dampening the shaving brush with warm water, place a small amount of cream onto the tip of the knot. Work the cream directly onto the face using circular motions for one to two minutes. Alternatively, apply a small amount of cream to each cheek before working it into a lather with the brush.

Once the lather has been evenly distributed, shave using your preferred razor with precise, controlled movements and without excessive pressure. Reapply shaving lather before any additional pass.

After each use, rinse the knot thoroughly with warm water to remove all traces of shaving soap or cream. Avoid very hot water, which may weaken the natural badger hair.

Gently shake the brush to remove excess water, then lightly brush the knot against a clean towel without pulling or crushing the bristles. Place the shaving brush on a suitable stand with the knot facing downwards to encourage thorough drying.

As the handle is made from natural wood, avoid prolonged immersion in water and carefully wipe it dry after use with a soft cloth. Do not expose it to prolonged heat or direct sunlight in order to preserve the appearance and natural qualities of Santos Rosewood.

Choose soaps and creams specifically formulated for traditional wet shaving and avoid excessively acidic products that may weaken the natural bristles. Store the shaving brush in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from persistent moisture.
