The best time to shave is in the morning, ideally after a shower and before breakfast. At this time of day, your beard hair, composed mainly of keratin, is softer and easier to cut, while the skin is more supple and less sensitive.

Prepare your shaving foam by loading the brush with soap. Shaving products serve a dual purpose: they help hydrate and soften the beard by removing excess sebum, while also creating a protective layer that shields the skin from the blade.

With your face damp, preferably after a shower, briefly run your shaving brush under warm water and work the soap or a small amount of shaving cream in the bowl until you obtain a rich, creamy lather. Apply it to your face using circular motions for one to two minutes to soften and lift the beard hair, ensuring a close and comfortable shave.
