Carefully varnished to withstand moisture, the handle preserves the natural beauty of the wood over time. The chrome-plated components provide excellent corrosion resistance while adding timeless elegance to the razor.

To suit every shaving preference and level of experience, this model is available with two safety head options:

• Open comb: ideal for experienced users and long, dense or coarse beards. It encourages more direct contact with the blade and helps evacuate shaving foam and cut hair more easily during shaving.
  
  
• Closed comb: recommended for those discovering safety razors or for more sensitive skin. It offers a gentler blade exposure for a precise, smooth and secure shave.

The best time to shave is in the morning, just after a shower and before breakfast. At this time of day, the beard hair is softer and easier to cut, while the skin is less sensitive.

Prepare a rich lather using a shaving brush and your favourite Plisson shaving soap or cream. Apply the lather to your damp face using circular motions to lift and soften the beard hair. Shave in the direction of hair growth using light, controlled strokes. For a closer shave, reapply the lather and shave gently against the grain if your skin allows.

Finish by rinsing your face with cool water to refresh the skin, then apply an aftershave balm to soothe and moisturise.

Check the condition of the blade regularly and replace it when it becomes dull to ensure a consistently close and comfortable shave.

After each use, rinse the razor thoroughly with warm water to remove hair and shaving product residue. Dry it carefully with a soft towel before storing it in a dry place to preserve the beauty of the briarwood and the brilliance of its chrome finish.
