The Joris razor combines the timeless elegance of Macassar ebony with solid brass details finished in brilliant palladium. To best suit your preferences and shaving routine, this model is available with three types of heads:

Safety head: available with either an open or closed comb, offering a traditional shaving experience tailored to your needs.

• Open comb: our open comb safety razors combine precision and comfort. Designed to deliver a close shave while helping to minimise irritation, they are particularly recommended for experienced traditional wet shavers and coarse or dense beards. An ideal choice for those seeking performance and quality in a timeless, classic design.

• Closed comb: our closed comb safety razors provide a smooth and safe shave. Ideal for sensitive skin, they ensure a precise shave while minimising the risk of irritation. The perfect choice for a comfortable, well-groomed shave with an elegant and refined design.

Mach3: compatible with Gillette Mach3 blades for a fast, precise and comfortable shave.

Fusion: compatible with Gillette Fusion blades for a close, smooth and high-performance shave.

Presented in an elegant Plisson gift box, this razor pairs perfectly with the matching Joris Macassar Ebony & Palladium-Finish shaving brush, available separately.

The best time to shave is in the morning, just after a shower and before breakfast. At this time of day, the beard hair is softer and easier to cut, while the skin is less sensitive.

Prepare a rich lather using a shaving brush and your favourite Plisson shaving soap or cream. Apply the lather to your damp face using circular motions to lift and soften the beard hair. Shave in the direction of hair growth using light, controlled strokes. For a closer shave, reapply the lather and shave gently against the grain if your skin allows.

Finish by rinsing your face with cool water to refresh the skin, then apply an aftershave balm to soothe and moisturise.

Check the condition of the blade regularly and replace it when it becomes dull to ensure a consistently close, comfortable shave.

After each use, rinse the razor thoroughly with warm water to remove hair and shaving product residue. Dry it carefully with a soft towel and store it in a dry place, ideally on a suitable stand, to preserve its finish and performance over time.
