Fusion Set Black Beechwood and Chrome

The shaving brush in this new line combines the fine grain of tinted beechwood with a knot of pure Grey Russian badger hair, a bristle type between pure black and pure European grey, ideal for coarse and medium beard types. Single size (12), perfect for daily use.

The matching razor is fitted with a Gillette Fusion 5-blade head.

The black steel stand enhances the elegance of your shaving set while ensuring proper maintenance. As with all Plisson products, this set is made in France.

It is best to shave in the morning, just after a shower and before breakfast: hair — primarily made of keratin — is softer and easier to cut, and your facial skin is less sensitive. Prepare your lather by loading the brush with shaving soap or cream. Pre-shave products serve a dual purpose: they increase hydration by removing sebum (the oily layer), and protect the skin from the blade's aggression.

• With shaving soap: With your face previously moistened (ideally after showering), briefly run the brush under warm water and lather the soap in the bowl (without crushing the bristles) until you obtain a thick, creamy foam. Apply to the face in circular motions for one to two minutes to soften and lift the beard.
• With shaving cream: Once your face is prepared and the brush moistened with warm water, place a small amount of cream on the top of the brush and lather your face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to apply a dab of cream directly onto each cheek and emulsify it with the brush.

Apply the lather to your wet face in circular motions to lift the hairs. Shave in the direction of hair growth, limiting the number of strokes to avoid irritation. For a second pass, re-lather your face and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. You're ready to start the day!

To preserve the quality of your shaving brush for many years, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly after each use to remove all traces of soap or cream, and then draining it well. Lightly rub it on a towel before storing it bristles-down on an appropriate stand.

Check the sharpness of your razor blade regularly and replace it when worn. After shaving, rinse the razor under hot water to remove hair and product residues (shaving cream, soap, etc.) to prevent bacterial build-up. A clean blade will maintain its edge and performance longer, offering you a truly pleasant shaving experience.
