Perfumes
For many, the first olfactory ritual of the morning has always begun with Plisson.
Today, La Collection 1808 carries this tradition forward. Named in tribute to the year the House was founded, it evokes an encounter between memory and modernity, where perfume becomes the natural extension of the ritual: a way of life.
FAQ – Perfumes
Since 1808, Plisson has cultivated the same way of life through exceptional objects designed to accompany everyday rituals. Shaving brushes, razors, hairbrushes, and accessories share the same demand for excellence: craftsmanship, noble materials, and enduring elegance. La Collection 1808 continues this legacy. After more than two centuries devoted to the gesture, the House now signs its own trail. A natural evolution, faithful to its history as much as to its ambition: creating objects that stand the test of time.
1808 is the year Maison Plisson was founded at the Palais-Royal in Paris. This name pays tribute to over 200 years of history, craftsmanship, and innovation. It also recalls the origins of the House, which counted Napoleon Bonaparte among its clients, and places this first perfume collection in the continuity of that heritage.
La Collection 1808 was conceived as a collection of personalities. Each perfume has its own character, world, and emotion: fresh or deep, luminous or intense, contemplative or bold. Together, they offer six interpretations of elegance according to Plisson, so that everyone can find the one that resembles them.
To bring this first collection to life, Plisson surrounded itself with some of the most recognized talents in contemporary perfumery. The perfumes were composed by perfumers trained in Grasse, and the bottle was designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff, a major figure in perfume design. Every detail of the collection was conceived with the same creative rigor as the House's emblematic objects.
La Collection 1808 explores different facets of elegance. Some perfumes assert a more intensely masculine character, while others, fresher and more luminous, naturally appeal to a broader audience. More than a question of gender, each creation expresses a personality and invites everyone to choose the perfume in which they recognize themselves.
